The scope of work received support with a few suggestions. GVLT and Gallatin County Planning Department will be working to finalize the scope of work, confirm the budget and then issue a request for proposals. Our local governments have been providing essential leadership and focusing on COVID-19 outreach and services. This focus means that other business is being put on hold while we respond to this pressing public health emergency. Currently the Triangle Plan adoption is NOT being scheduled, we will keep you informed when planning schedules are resumed. Thank you to our local governments providing direction and services to our community during this time. Remember, we all have an important part to play because social distancing is vital to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community. This means avoiding others and maintaining your distance (six feet!) from others. Please continue to do your part and urge others to do the same. Also employ these other healthy habits to help slow the spread of COVID-19: • Stay home if you or someone in your household is sick • Wash your hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds • Clean and disinfect frequently used surfaces • Avoid touching your face Getting Information: Visit the Gallatin County Health Department for additional information and updates. A call center also is available from 8am-5pm every day: 548-0123. After hours, the Health Department main number, 582-3100, is available for urgent questions. These are the most accurate local sources for information. Help Line/Managing Stress: All the COVID news can be a real stress inducer. For help call the Bozeman Help Center at 2-1-1 or 586-3333. It's available 24/7/365 for crisis counseling, advocacy, information, outreach, and support in a safe, confidential environment. The CDC also has a good web site with advice for managing stress.
