Site Visitor Name: Katherine BudeskiSite Visitor Email: katherine.budeski@gmail.com Dear Mayor Mehl, My name is Katherine Budeski. I grew up in Bozeman and am currently working for the Global Biological Policyand Programs division of the Nuclear Threat Initiative in Washington, DC. I wanted to share a resource that myorganization has been working on that launched this morning. It is A Frontline Guide for Local Decision-Makers(https://covid-local.org/) during the COVID-19 pandemic. We developed this guide to provide a decision framework for local leaders to think through what will need to be done to help reduce the impact of the outbreak, both byreducing spread and decreasing the number of cases, but also in responding and supporting communities effectively. This document is informed by existing guidance from U.S. and global authorities, public health research findings, and lessons observed from countries that have been battling COVID-19 since January 2020. It is intended tocomplement, but not in any way supplant, advice and guidance from global, federal and local public health and otherauthorities. In addition, this is an initial version of the guide and thus we are still soliciting feedback to improve andupdate it moving forward. Please let me know if you have any questions. I would be happy to connect you or members of your team directlywith my fellow staff members. Many thanks, Katherine Budeski
