I was so shocked to see a spotlit logo on the Olive-Black building. To my knowledge no other residential
property in town is adorned with commercial-like signage. Are we setting a precedent here? A recent
Bozeman Daily Chronicle article reports that the city is reviewing the vertical signage for the Ellen Theatre.
Did Olive and Black go through a similar process? Does the Olive-Black signage adhere to light pollution
standards in residential zoned neighborhoods?
