To Whom it May Concern,
We are writing in regards to the ETHA Hotel at 24 West Mendenhall St. We are concerned that the 5 West Residential
building, directly to the north on Mendenhall, will be negatively impacted by many of the proposed modifications to the
original 2014 approved plans for the building. We hope that our concerns will betaken into account and supported by the
DRB and Planning committee.
Notably, the proposed relocation of the exterior mechanical systems from the roof of building to the area on the roof of
the second story and the relocation of the pool to the roof top of the building is unacceptable at this juncture. The
current screening is inadequate and should not be acceptable to the DRB and Planning.
Additionally, it has been noted that the window mullions on the first and second floors are of a lesser quality and a their
appearance is not in line with the approved design.
Another of our concerns is that the developer has unilaterally implemented changes to the approved original plans
without the proper DRB and Planning committee approvals.
