Hofer - Armory Hotel Project Application 19410From: Ross Hofer To: Agenda; Brian Krueger Subject: Application 19410 Date: Tuesday, February 18, 2020 2:59:08 PM I’m just verifying – the City of Bozeman has approved plans for the Etha and now is seeking to renege on what has been in place the last 5 years and hold parts of the project that have already been approved and constructed to be torn down and re-built to a completely different standard that didn’t exist when it was originally approved by the City of Bozeman and constructed and inspected (and passed inspection for the last 5 years)? I am not in favor of the precedent that is being set by the City of Bozeman to renege on it’s previously “approved for construction” drawings of the Etha and cause them to tear down City of Bozeman approved and inspected parts of the building by changing their stance 5 years later and holding them to a standard other than that which was already approved by the City of Bozeman 5 years ago. It is wasteful of time, it is the opposite of conserving energy, it is an irresponsible use of resources, and it is disrespectful to everyone who has been involved in the construction process as well as the inspectors who have reviewed the work to date. City of Bozeman planning department – this sends the wrong message. Let’s try to correct this and send the right message moving forward. Ross Hofer
