RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to sign a public access easement with
Rosa Johnson Development LLC for the Boulder Creek Phase 3
Subdivision Common Open Space 7-10, Final Plat #19233
BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy (original to City Clerk) of the partially executed
agreement. Planning staff reviewed the document and found it to be
acceptable. The preliminary plat for Boulder Creek Subdivision Phase 3
was approved by the City Commission On July 21, 2014. The final plat
was approved on February 3, 2020. The trail through open space lots 7 and
8 helps mitigate block length and provides a pedestrian connection to
adjacent trails. Open space lots 9 and 10 are adjacent to the public park
that was dedicated during phase 2 of the plat and serves to provide trail
connections along Baxter Creek.
FISCAL EFFECTS: N/A
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
