COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3967
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONT ANA, STATING THE CITY'S INTENT TO AMEND THE IJAND USE
DESIGNATION , AS SHOWN ON THE FUTURE LAND lJSE MAP OF THE
BOZEMAN 2020 COMMUNITY PLAN, FROM HRESIDENTIAL" TO "'BUSINESS
PARK" FOR THE ENTIRE 19.998-ACRE SUBJECT PROPERTY, WHICH IS
DESCRIBED AS LOT 1 OF MINOR SUBDIVISION NO. 235, SITUATED IN THE
NORTHEAST ONE-QUARTER D.F SECTION 23, T2S, R5E, P.M.M., GALLA TIN
COUNTY, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, Plannmg ~taffhas processed an application for a Growth Policy Amendment to amend
the Bozeman 2020 Community Plan for 1<).<)<)8 acres lying immediately adjacent to the west side of South
19th Avenue and generally one-quarter mile ~outh of Stucky Road; and
WHEREAS, the application for a Growth Policy Amendment would amend the Future Land Use
Map of the BOLe man 2020 Community Plan from "ResidentIal" to "Bu~mes~ Park" for the entire 19.998
acres of the subject property; and
WHEREAS, the Planning staff assessed thc application in light of the critcria set forth for review of
Growth Policy Amendments contained in the Boz.eman 2020 Commwllty Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman Planning Board conducted a public hearing on an applieation for
~aid amendment at its regular meeting held on September 19, 2006, takmg into careful consideration the
criteria set forth for review of Growth Policy Amendment applieations, and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman Plannmg Board found that the applicatIon complies with the
approval criteria establi~hed m Section 2.4.1 of the Bozeman 2020 Community Plan, and that the proposed
amendment does constitute an overall improvement to the Plan; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to it~ public hearing, the City of Bozeman Planning Board voted, on a vote
of 8 to 0, to forward a recommendation for approval of the requested amendment in land use deSIgnation;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is scheduled to conduct It:; public hearing on said amendment at

its regular meeting held on October 2,2006, to consider the applicant's request to amend the Bozeman 2020
COInrnunity Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOl,VED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, that it intends to amend the land use designation, as shown on the Future Land Use Map of the
Bozeman 2020 Community Plan, from to "Residential" to "Business Park" for the entire 19.998-acre subjeet
property which is loeated immediately adjacent to the west side of South 19th A venue and generally one-
quarter miJc south of Stucky Road, in the Bozeman 2020 Community Plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular
session thereof held on the 2nd of October 2006.
