Dear Mr. Meese,
I’m writing on behalf of Medical Arts Building, LLC which owns the property at 300 N Willson Avenue
regarding the proposal to create a Downtown Parking Management District and Parking Benefit
Zones. While we are supportive of increased parking management in Downtown and the concept
of parking benefit zones we are writing to express concerns regarding the current proposal. The
following summarizes our question and concerns regarding the current proposal:

Framework has worked directly for many cities to evaluate and make recommendations to modify
their permit parking programs including districts and parking benefit districts. Unfortunately, we
see the City of Bozeman moving in a direction that will create many of the problems that other
cities are trying to address through reforming their permit programs. The City should reconsider
the current proposal and provide more detail regarding the issues summarized above before
adopting new parking programs.
