While we are supportive of increased parking management in Downtown and the concept of parking benefit zones we are writing to express concerns regarding the current proposal. The following summarizes our question and concerns regarding the current proposal: ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ Framework has worked directly for many cities to evaluate and make recommendations to modify their permit parking programs including districts and parking benefit districts. Unfortunately, we see the City of Bozeman moving in a direction that will create many of the problems that other cities are trying to address through reforming their permit programs. The City should reconsider the current proposal and provide more detail regarding the issues summarized above before adopting new parking programs.
