Hi, I'm contacting you re the proposed parking permit district that probably would include my
house, 701 e davis st.
I am not against the permitting BUT BUT BUT, the city needs to require these huge new
housing units and business to have enough parking. Please don't allow new development to
have half or less the off street parking I've been paying taxes on for 30 years! And then the
city proposing fixing it by charging me for a permit to park in front of my house? No thanks.
A parking district okay but GIVE existing housing 1 permit / dwelling (at this time) and
maybe add one more free permit for every 100 or 150 or 200 feet of street front on the
property.
The proposal I've read is very unfriendly to long term residents in my neighborhood.
The city keeps allowing huge developments or additional units on properties, that's great, but
make them HAVE PARKING! NOT 3 cars parked in front of my house all the time.
Please let me know who to contact with my concerns if you're not that human. Thanks, happy
snow day!
Jes
