Hi Chris,
Hope all is well. The folks in our office wanted to put in a word on parking. We all purchase a very
expensive permit to park in the Black St. parking structure and, lately, it’s getting more and more
difficult to find a space in the covered area. We are really worried about the impact this will have
on downtown businesses. I already hear people complaining that they don’t shop downtown
because it’s too hard to park. Our question is why the city doesn’t require the new hotels, apts
and condos to build adequate , off street parking as part of their projects instead of allotting
them space in the structure? With additional hotels in the works, we only see the problem getting
worse.
One of the great things about Bozeman is our wonderful downtown. Let’s not let all the hotel
developers ruin that.
Thanks,
Bebe
