Ward - Wagonewheel Road AnnexationFrom:Ward, David To:Agenda Subject:Opinion on the 40-unit cohousing proposal off Wagonwheel Date:Sunday, February 2, 2020 12:51:02 PM To whom it may concern, I am a resident of Fieldstone Dr. who, together with my wife, invested in our home in 1986. I am strongly opposed to the proposed co-housing proposal, and especially to the concept of rezoning. People like us stretch/have stretched their budgets to live in a neighborhood that has appropriate zoning for family residences. Why do we even have zoning if we constantly rezone? While this may benefit the proposing party, it is not a benefit to the long-term homeowners in the near vicinity, who chose to live here trusting that the zoning would not be changed. I feel especially sorry for my neighbors down the street, who live directly opposite the proposed development. It simply isn't fair to them or to any of the other families who live in this area to change the way the neighborhood is used years after their investments were made. I have nothing against the idea of developing a co-housing residence, just not in an established family neighborhood. David M. Ward 605 Fieldstone Dr.
