SUBJECT: Ratify the Interim City Manager’s signature on the Professional
Services Agreement with The Nest Collective for design and
consulting services for the Parks and Trails District education effort.
MEETING DATE: January 27, 2020
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Approve ratifying the Interim City Manager’s signature.
BACKGROUND: After a thorough RFP process the City selected The Nest Collective
to provide services to assist City staff in educating the public about
the impacts of the passage or failure of the Bozeman Parks and
Trails District. Work has started and will continue through May 5,
2020.
The City has contracted with The Nest Collective on projects before
including the Bozeman Public Safety Center, water conservation,
and snow removal.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As determined by the City Commission.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The budget for the Parks and Trails District education effort is
$27,000 and was budgeted for in the General Fund for FY20. This
includes all work done by The Nest Collective as well as the cost
of items included in the scope of services as shown in the
Professional Services Agreement.
