SUBJECT: Ratification of City Manager’s signature for professional services agreement with
Matthew A Madsen, of M Squared Consulting for administrative support to
Community Housing program.
MEETING DATE: January 27, 2020
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: That the City Commission ratify the professional services agreement
amendment with M Squared Consulting and authorize the Interim City Manager’s signature.
BACKGROUND: The City Commission has identified Affordable Housing as one of its top priorities
in the Strategic Plan. The operations of the Affordable Housing Program have been disrupted by staff
vacancy. This professional services agreement serves to ensure programmatic services are made current
and program objectives addressed.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None determined at this time.
ALTERNATIVES: As determined by the Commission.
FISCAL EFFECTS: Agreement cost budgeted under Affordable Housing and does not exceed budget
authorization.
