Sports ParkCommission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Addi Jadin, Parks Planner and Development Manager Mitch Overton, Director of Parks and Recreation SUBJECT: Professional Services Agreement with RainMaker Lawn Sprinklers for Completion of Phase I Irrigation Installation at Bozeman Sports Park MEETING DATE: January 27, 2020 AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to sign the Professional Services Agreement with RainMaker Lawn Sprinklers for completion of Phase I irrigation installation at Bozeman Sports Park. BACKGROUND: Rainmaker Lawn Sprinklers was hired by the City of Bozeman to install a portion of the Phase I irrigation during the construction of the Sports Park in summer 2019. As the project is coming to a close, additional funding remains available to complete other portions of the Phase I irrigation in the northwest corner of the park adjacent to Baxter Lane and surrounding the playground. The Scope of Services for the PSA is included as Attachment A and describes the cost associated with the work and refers to the Irrigation Plans for the Sport Park, included as Attachment B to the PSA. Rainmaker offers continuity of services due to their prior work in the Sports Park. The total amount authorized by the PSA is $64,660. UNRESOLVED ISSUES: N/A ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the commission. FISCAL EFFECTS: The total of the contract is $64,660, with work to be completed by July 31, 2020. The majority of the work will be completed in fiscal year 2020 and paid for by the Sports Park Foundation.
