SUBJECT: Notice of Award and Purchase Agreement for:
One (1) New Dump Truck (Current Model Year 2019 or Newer)
FY20 Capital Improvement Project #WW54
MEETING DATE: January 13, 2020
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent Agenda
RECOMMENDATION: Award bid of the new dump truck to Floyd’s Truck Center in
Belgrade Montana and Authorize the City Manager to sign Purchase Agreement for the total
amount of $96,170.
BACKGROUND: This is a replacement for a dump truck purchased in 1995 and was in the
approved budget in fiscal year 2020 for $100,000. The bid of $96,170 was the lowest bid we
received out of the five total bids.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
FISCAL EFFECTS: This item is in the FY20 Wastewater CIP and budget. $100,000 was
budgeted for the dump truck.
