Action Items 1. 05:35:33 PM (00:01:27) 19403 Ordinance Change to Amend Chapter 38 (Krueger) Zone text amendments to revise sections of Chapter 38 of the Bozeman Municipal Code to improve consistency in Application of Standards. Amendments to revise sections including submittal requirements for landscape plans, UMU district special standards, landscape plan review, mandatory landscaping provisions, landscape performance standards, landscape completion, permitted general sales uses, sketch plan review, group living, and parking space requirements for restaurants and entertainment centers. • 19403 Staff Report Ordinance 2029 General UDC revisions • 19403 Ordinance 2029 for general UDC revisions - 10-3-2019 Development Review Manager Brian Krueger presented an overview of the requested changes to the landscaping requirements to the Bozeman Municipal Code. Mr. Krueger answered Board member questions to clarify the changes and reasons for requesting the changes. 06:05:51 PM (00:31:45) MOTION: Having reviewed and considered the application materials, public comment, and all the information presented, I hereby adopt the findings presented in the staff report for application 19403 and move to recommend that the City commission adopt Ordinance 2029 zone text amendment. Mr. Krueger made comments on the current projects submitted under the new regulations and less opportunities for landscaping. 06:21:51 PM (00:47:45) VOTE on the Motion as Amended: 3 - 3 – Motion does not pass G. 06:23:40 PM (00:49:34) FYI/Discussion Scott Freimuth submitted his resignation as a Board member. He excused himself from the required annual ethics training. H. Design Review Board Ethics Training (Krueger) 06:24:35 PM (00:50:29) City staff member Brian Krueger presented the annual required board members ethics training for 2019. I. 06:47:03 PM (01:12:57) FYI/Discussion (Additional) Mr. Krueger gave an update on the Aviator building. The Design Review Board denied the original plans for this project. Mr. Krueger also updated the board members on the Winco project.
