SUBJECT: Ratify the Interim City Managers signature on the Subaward Acceptance
Form, the FDP Cost Reimbursement Research Subaward Agreement for
the Combating Opioid Overdose through Community Level Intervention
(COOCLI) Funding, and the Budget Certification

RECOMMENDATION: Ratify the Interim City Managers signature on the Subaward
Acceptance Form, the FDP Cost Reimbursement Research Subaward
Agreement for the Combating Opioid Overdose through Community
Level Intervention (COOCLI) Funding, and the Budget Certification
BACKGROUND: On December 6 we received the award notice for the Alternative Therapies
Pilot Program. This was past the deadline to put this on the December 16
th
consent agenda. The
University of Baltimore requires me to email the signed documents back by December 18.
Because of the short turn around, I’m requesting the commission ratify the Interim City
Manager’s signature on these documents at this meeting. These documents allow the city to
accept the funding for the Alternative Therapies Pilot Program.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None
ALTERNATIVES: As directed by the commission.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The available funding will fully cover the costs of the Alternative
Therapies Pilot Program. There are no required matching funds.
