The Swim Center is excited to announce the return of Dive-In movies to the pool. The 2019 version of
the Lion King will be shown on Sunday, January 5th. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be
available beginning Wednesday, December 4th at the Swim Center. Ticket prices are $6 for
youth/seniors and $8 for adults. Choose between a 12-2 pm or a 3-5 pm viewing. The pool will be open
from 9:30-11 am for lap swimming and Master’s swim practice. After that the pool will be closed to the
public for the remainder of the day. For those who like cooler temperatures, please note the
temperature of the pool will be raised for this event.
The counter tops in the locker rooms are being replaced. Please be aware the December 2nd and 3rd
there may not be counters in the locker rooms. The old counters will be taken down for measurements,
but will be put back up until the new counters arrive at the end of the month.
Friday, December 13th the pool will be open from 5:30-8:00 am. At 8:00 am the pool will close to the
public to prepare for the Hawk’s swim meet.
Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th the pool will be closed for the Barracudas annual
Teddy Bear Meet. The pool will reopen Monday, December 16th at 5:30 am.
Tuesday, December 24th the Swim Center will be open from 5:30 am – 1:00 pm, so be sure to get your
preholiday workout done early!
The Swim Center will be closed Christmas Day, December 25th.
December 26th and 27th the Swim Center will be closed for maintenance. Sections of ceiling tiles in the
natatorium are scheduled to be replaced. The systematic process of replacing tiles has made noticeable
improvements to the facility.
The Swim Center will be closed Wednesday, January 1st, New Year’s Day.
December is a busy month at the Swim Center! Signs will be posted at the facility to help track the
schedule.
