(and all others on BCC)I appreciate your time addressing the speed and volume issue on N Yellowstone Ave. I know that construction is going to wrap up soon for the winter season, andI want to stress the importance of making those stop signs you've placed temporarily on the Yellowstone and Cascade intersection to be permanatyinstalled like you had mentioned on your walk through of the neighborhood with us. Cars need to be forced to stop on Yellowstone, not just Cascade. To becompletely blunt, Yellowstone as you know, has always had a problem with speed and volume, but now that you have trained the entire city of Bozeman to useYellowstone during this construction detour, it's going to still be a huge problem. I can't stress enough how fast (45 MPH + sometimes) people roll through here. It's not safe. Lots of children, let alone an elementary school zone warrants your attention to this problem. Please, please do not overlook this. If you must do moreinvestigations,do so. This is not just a case of a fired up home owner with too much time on my hands, talk to the Hylite School crossing guards, come by andsit in my driveway and just watch it all happen for yourselves. It's bad, and very dangerous. I trust you'll do the right thing, and let me know how I my assist. Side note: Even the Streamline bus service has been a problem. Crushing peoples review mirrors w/o even stopping, killing my elderly neighbors cat with outstopping. (true story) To some it up, it's always been bad, and will now be worse because everyone thinks, "oh yeah, I'll buzz through Yellowstone instead ofFerguson... because you've now trained them to do so. Thank you very much, Drew.
