Andrus, Mayor City of Bozeman 121 North Rouse Avenue PO Box 1230 Bozeman, MT 59771 RE: Request for Meeting Dear Mayor Andrus, Thank you for your letter inviting the Gallatin County Commission to meet with the Bozeman City Commission. We agree that a joint meeting is in the best interest of the citizens we serve. Waiting until after the New Year, when a new City Commission is seated, would provide for the most productive use of all of our time and we would be happy to meet with you then. We also appreciate your suggested agenda items. We want to reiterate, however, that we think it is improper to discuss the work of the PCC without representation from the City of Belgrade. Belgrade has been an integral part of the PCC. Meeting without them to discuss growth in the Triangle is unproductive and we find it inappropriate to take part in those conversations without them. Belgrade is affected by conversations around affordable housing, the City-County Health Board, and the 911 Advisory Board, also, and those discussions should include them. We will also suggest additional agenda items for a joint meeting as the date draws closer. Please suggest some dates in January or February that will work for you. Sincerely, GALLATIN COUNTY COMMISSION Joe P kinner, Chair Donald F. Seifert,Wmber Scott MacFarlane, Member
