Sarah Rosenberg and City Commissioners,
Recently I heard HRDC purchased a home at 3025 Westridge Drive by HRDC. I am opposed to have a
single family home opened up to 36 people accepting this space in the Figgins neighborhood. This is on
the corner of Westridge Drive and Graf Street. It is 287 feet from Morning Star School Property and two
blocks from Sacajawea Middle School.
I feel that HRDC did not act in good faith to the community of the Figgins neighborhood and surrounding
neighborhoods. The HRDC knew that they could sneak this by and let the surrounding neighborhoods
know of the purchase of this home and request a special use permit to occupy 36 people in a single
household after the fact. This is a grave disservice to our community, schools and children in surrounding
neighborhoods. Especially when there is no vetting of people coming into this home in a quiet residential
community.
