Regarding the proposed HRDC homeless shelter at 3025 Westridge Drive:
Our residents did not purchase homes here to have neighbors with up to 36 transient “guests”
drifting about on the property, smoking and generally creating an atmosphere that no one wants to
see or experience. In the interest of civility and safety, this is not the location for this type of facility.
In addition, it would appear to create a precedent for modifying zoning for other neighborhoods.
This proposal should be denied.
