Site Visitor Name: Tim StrigenzSite Visitor Email: timstrigenz@gmail.com Mr. Rogers, I understand the need for a warming shelter in Bozeman. I also am sympathetic to the needs of others. Every day I take care of the indigent and less fortunate at the hospital. I frequently doso knowing I am not going to get reimbursed for care I provide. And that is ok, because, always, you just do the right thing. What I also understand and am very hesitant to compromise on is the safety and well being ofmy family, namely my kids. We live 250 feet from the proposed home where 36 people will be residing every night. They will be coming and going from that house at nearly the exactsame hours as my 5 year old twin girls and 8 year old boy walk to and from Morningstar Elementary. I worry enough about traffic buzzing by on Graf, the pressures of growing up in asocial media crazed society, and just the typical perils of being a kid. This is not something I or other families of South Bozeman should have to worry about. Do the right thing. Put this house where it’s more appropriate: Downtown, where these peopledon’t have to ride a bus to get home for the night; where 36 people in a single home isn’t an anomaly, but somewhat the norm. Please, do the right thing. Timothy J. Strigenz MD
