Hello,
My name is Cheryl Ebel and I live at 2605 Westridge Drive. I am writing you as a concernedhomeowner and long time resident of Bozeman. The proposed Homeless Shelter/Warming
Center is in a very poor location.
1.Reasons Why this Wrong Location for this Homeless Shelter1.0 Between an Elemry & Middle School
No background checks for people staying at the ShelterNo parking
Children walking right by the center on a daily basis (the crosswalk is right next to this house)Crime in our neighborhood
Smoking right next to a Elementary schoolChanging the character of the neighborhood
The closest sheltered public transit location is at MSU & Sola (meaning that people will bewalking around our neighborhood at all hours.
I understand that there is a need for a shelter and I do have compassion for people that need
this facility It is just in the Wrong Location.
Please vote No for the sake of the safety of our children that will be walking right next to thishouse to get to school.
