Hello all-
There are so many reasons this warming center is a bad idea, but foremost is the fact that there are children
everywhere in this neighborhood. We moved here from Helena 1 year ago and specifically picked a rental house in
Alder Creek so that our son could go to Morning Star and bike to school. He bikes passed this proposed warming
center house every day. If the warming center goes through, I will drive him to school as I’m sure many other
parents will too, creating more congestion to the already busy morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up traffic. We
have been planning to buy a house in Alder Creek all along, but will buy a house much farther away if the proposed
warming center happens. This will hurt resale of homes in this neighborhood.
Thank you in advance for considering the negative impacts this warming center will have on our family-friendly
neighborhood.
