Dear Sarah,
Our family has lived in Bozeman for 13 years and at 2512 Landoe ave for 6 years. Our young son is 5th generation
Montanan. We support the HRDC’s SUP for an emergency women and family warming shelter in our
neighborhood, the Figgins Neighborhood on Westridge. application number is 19-438.
We believe many neighbors are acting hysterical and imagining the most outrageous worst case scenarios. They are
also saying some very cruel, hypocritical and false things about that population and the HRDC. We need the City of
Bozeman to stand up for their reputation and rights. We know the house has been a group home since the 90s,
longer than 90% of the neighbors. We know this use is permitted under zoning law. We think is is just as safe or
safer than any regular use of the property.
