Re: Graf/Westridge Homeless House
Dear Marten Matsen and City Commissioners:
I find it unreal that you would even consider granting a variance for the
proposed homeless house on Graf/Westridge corner The rules regarding
the occupants seem unenforcible for any length of time.
The location of the house is in close proximity to two schools with children
going to and from at all hours. Also the surrounding subdivisions’ owners try
to abide by their homeowner association rules and the city zoning codes.
This homeless home does not fit into this area.
Granting variances is a slippery slope to start. Please don’t open this can
of worms.
