To whom it may concern,
After learning about the proposed homeless shelter at 3025 Westridge Drive my immediatethought was of the 500+ children that attend Morning Star Elementary school 287 feet away,
the large number of children that use the adjacent crosswalk every day and the surroundinghomes with families. Shame on you HRDC for not thinking of our children first. What
happens when there is an altercation and an innocent child on their way to school is involved.What happens when a resident of the homeless shelter is a convicted child predator and prays
on these innocent children. I am sure 99% of the residents of the homeless shelter are goodpeople with good intentions but it only takes one incident to absolutely destroy a community.
Putting a homeless shelter in this area is absolutely irresponsible.
