I believe the temporary shelter in the Figgins subdivision is deparately needed. Christ the King has
generously filled in for this need for over a year. HRDC will do its best to take care of these homeless
families and make sure they do not disrupt the life of this neighborhood. They will have staff oversight all
evening and night. I understand the concerns of neighbors, but please think about how you might need
extra help some day and give this effort a try.
