Hi there,
1. We have a comment about the new parking solution proposed by the developers. While using off-site parking near the Wilson Medical Arts building seems like a smart solution, it is
NOT a long-term solution. According to a medical professional at the Medical Arts building, who had been informed by the building owners, this building will be torn down in the
foreseeable future with condominiums to replace it. The medical professional has since moved out of the building into another building in town which will not be allegedly torn down in the
near future. Are the developers of AC Hotel aware of this future possibility? Because if the Medical Arts building will be replaced by condos, the condos will need their own parking
spaces, and this will increase competition for already-tight parking near the Medical Arts building, making the developer’s plan for off-site parking not adequate or long-term.
2. We’d also like to note that the proposed parking solution does NOTHING to address our
and Leif Sundeen’s concerns (from 9/23/2019) about Tracy becoming a narrow canyon with big walls and way too much traffic coming and going if the entrance to AC Hotel remains on
Tracy. We agree with Leif’s concerns!
