Good afternoon,
I would like to voice my concerns about the proposed AC Hotel to be constructed at the corner of
Mendenhall and Tracy.
Concern # 1. The Development Review Application has 0 onsite parking spots for the proposed
project. How can a site with 143 guest rooms and multiple dining and bar facilities have 0 onsite
parking?
Concern # 2. There will be a public safety issue loading and unloading guests on Tracy. This street
has become increasingly busy and will be a dangerous place to have guests arriving and leaving with
very little space to stage vehicles.
Concern # 3. The developer has signed a parking agreement with the owners of the Medical Arts
building to have 80 offsite parking spots. To my knowledge this agreement has not been signed by
both parties and can be cancelled by the developer at will. The developer has also not agreed to end
his pursuit to secure long-term parking leases in the Bridger Park Garage.
I appreciate your consideration of my concerns and would encourage you to deny this application.
