Site Visitor Name: Sharon CulverSite Visitor Email: sculver2003@yahoo.com We are very concerned to hear that Shari Eslinger and Adam Poeschl from HRDC have applied for a Special Use Permit to establish a Warming Center at 3025 Westridge (theintersection at Westridge and 3rd Street). This is an established single family neighborhood and a major intersection between Morning Star Elementary and Sacajawea Middle School.Has there been a demographic study to show any need for a Warming Center at that location? Has there been a study of the impact of additional traffic at that busy intersection for studentsas well as lack of parking for staff and volunteers? Have they considered other sites? In summary, it appears that a false need has been created based upon a cheap piece of realproperty and the intended use will endanger the health, safety and welfare of an established single family neighborhood situated between two schools. We urge you to investigate thiscritical situation and the impact on many young children. Eric and Sharon Culver, 4122 E. Graf Street
