Hi Mr. Mehl,
This is what I found out:
"The HRDC will be hosting a town hall meeting at Pilgrim Congregational Church (2118 S. 3rd Ave) on Tuesday,
Oct. 15 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM to provide information about the proposed overflow warming center facility. The site
for this proposed family and women's overflow shelter is the former group home at 3025 Westridge Dr. (where the
south end of Westridge intersects S. 3rd). This meeting is another opportunity for community members, particularly
those nearby, to hear from the HRDC staff. Pastor Lindean from Christ the King Lutheran Church will be on hand to
talk about their experiences with hosting the overflow site, and a school district representative is planning to address
concerns regarding proximity to a school (as the former overflow location at Christ the King also bordered a
school)."
