The safety of Bridger Drive needs to be addressed ASAP. At the intersection of Bridger Drive and Story Mill a
26-year old biker was hit by a car this week. That is an incredibly dangerous intersection. The bike path is on
the east side of the road and drivers entering the Bridger Drive intersection from the east don't know to
look for bikers coming from the same side of the road. There needs to be signage and a blinking cross walk
or other remedies ASAP. There is also the issue of the new Story Mill Park crossing. The park is wonderful
though there isn't nearly enough parking so people are forced to park on the road. There are many
neighborhoods behind the industrial areas that line Bridger Drive and now kids, bikes, people with strollers
are trying to cross yet there are no crosswalks and drivers aren't used to people crossing. There also needs
to be a crosswalk at the intersection of Headlands and Northview further down the way on Bridger Drive --
past the park and past the Story Mill intersection. Please let me know when these items will be addressed
as we can't have more people hit because of unsafe planning on the part of the city.
