The Bozeman Solvent Site(BSS) is a State Superfund
facility. The BSS includes the former Buttrey's Shopping Since the last update(November 2016)the following has

• Sub-slab soil vapor extraction system(SVE)for soil which is consistent with the groundwater modeling pre-
vapors at the Hasting Shopping Center dictions(these wells are not used for drinking water)
• Enhanced bioremediation(EB) for residual source area
saturated soils and groundwater at the Hastings Shop- Work planned for 2019/2020

• Connection to city water and new or deeper replacement • Continue groundwater monitoring

The City of Bozeman and CVS Pharmacy are responsible
for the cleanup of the BSS.
