Dear Bozeman City Planning Department,
As the owner of Country Bookshelf, located at 28 W Main Street in downtown Bozeman, I
would like to voice my objection to the proposed plan for the AC Hotel including ZEROparking. Our staff and customers already have a challenging time with parking downtown, and
a hotel of this size cannot exist without using quite a lot of parking for its staff and guests. Toapprove a plan like this without supplying any of those needs would be irresponsible and
detrimental to our business and our downtown. I respectfully ask that you do not approve thisplan as written and require revisions that include the hotel building adequate parking for its
needs. This is a cost of doing business for a hotel like this, and they should be prepared to paythose costs and not take advantage of the already strained infrastructure that other businesses
have been paying for for decades.
