PROMISSORY NOTE

THIS AGREEMENT, hereby entered into on the 2(; day of )v(v'c-,f-1h_og , 20~by and between the
City of Three Forks, P.O. Box 1 E7, Three Forks, Montana 59752, and the City of Bozeman, 411 E. Main, P.O.
Box 1230, Bozeman, Montana 59715.
The City of Three h)fks, for receipt of a 1991 (iMe Aril:s sewn television truck, VIN
2CiTGG39K 7M450 1234, promises to pay to the City of Bozeman at the address listed above, or sUl:h other
place as the ('ily of Bozeman shall designate in writing, the principal sum of Fourteen Thousand ($14,000)
Dollars with an initial payment of Seven Thousand ($7,000) Dollars bcmg due and owing immediately upon
deli very of said truck. The City of Three 1'"orks further agrees to pay the remaining Seven -fhousand ($7,000)
Dollars not later than the 3 pl day of July 2003 _ No interest shall accrue between the date of the delivery of the
truck and the 31" day ofJuly 2003.
IF THIS PROMISSORY NOTE shall be placed in the hands of an attorney, including the City
Attorney or other starf attorney for the City, fi)r collection, the undersigned agrees to pay a sum equal to all
amounts due and owing to the City of Bozeman, the costs of collection, interest accruing lhm1 the date of
debult and reasonable attorneys' feeS as fixed by court.
The nlakers and endorsers, if any, waive demand, protest and notice of demand, protest and
nonpayment, and agree that the maturity hereof may be extended from tirne to time and renewal dates accepted
without notice.
