I would like to comment on the lack of turn lane in the design that would allow a left turn onto classical way
off of cottonwood road. I believe a turn lane is need for these reasons
1. number of user groups that use bronken fields now and into the future as Bozeman grows. two weeks
ago 2500 soccer users were there for a tournament. North bound traffic weaves through valley west
subdivision and is directed by Google to Clifton as the best route. Valley west routes pass parks and kids
which is not the solution. New soccer fields are being built but if seen as a solution lacks foresight that as
Bozeman grows this venue will be used.
2. Petra School and field is used by numerous families and community groups. I believe their facility is
either in use by the school, or leased by community groups from the times of 6 a.m-10p.m throughout the
week and week end.. Again all traffic for these venues going north on cottonwood would route through
valley west.
3. the current location of turn lane on waters allows waters a turn lane. Waters has multiple access points
but classical has only one.
PLease consider installing turn lane for classical. thank you.
