strategy, the BPC, upon advice of RIck Willlams Consulting, has chosen to use a factor equal to 50% of unused parking spaces dur¡ng the Peak Hour.
ln September 2019, the Park¡ng Program Manager began usinB the most current 'Average Peak Occupancy (Weekday - Noon)' as the Peak Occupancy number for th¡s calculator.
Monthly, the Park¡ng Mânater pulls peak occupancy data for Weekdey-Noon, Friday Even¡ng, and Saturday Evening for the previous month. This data is comb¡ned with other monthly
peak occupancy to creâte a "Peak Occupancy Average". Because the Weekday-Noon peak occupancy data histor¡cally has the highest volume of parked vehicles, it ¡s used for the
purpose of the Park¡ng Permit Calculator.
