My husband and I are the parents of two elementary students at Petra Academy. It was recently brought to our
attention that with the current Cottonwood project plan, it will not allow us to turn into the school when approaching
from the south. Between school drop off, pick up, volunteering, and the many events we attend at the school and
across the way at the fields, it is not uncommon for me to make this turn 3 to 4 times a day. I am writing to formally
request that this plan be adapted to allow for the turn. I am told this is possible by eliminating a turn into the
neighborhood across the street. This seems reasonable as that neighborhood has many entrances and Petra only has
one. Also, there traffic flow is more disbursed through the day, where our turn will be used at times in a more
concentrated period and has potential to cause traffic and safety issues by detouring. Approving this change will
directly effect the lives of many families today and into the future. Thank you for your time and consideration.
