Nearly all communities charge a fee to those who ride pubic transportation. Why is it free to ride a bus in Bozeman? I have heard all the arguments defending free rides for all. However, the routes are not convenient for many/most residents of Bozeman. Add buses, add routes and charge a fee. As a sidebar and a complement to the bus issue, it would be nice to see sidewalks installed and completed throughout town so it is safe to walk. In the subdivision that I live in, owners were required to complete sidewalks within 3 years of final plat approval. There is no sidewalk on a property owned by the City of Bozeman located on the corner of S. 19th and W. Graf (adjacent to Hope Lutheran Church) on W Graf. Geo Code 06-0798-23-4-01-05-0000. Would you please have the City install a sidewalk so we can walk safely to MSU or town? Thank you.
