Dear City Commissioners:
Thank you for all you do for the city of Bozeman to make it a nice place to live. I know that many decisions
are not easy ones.
I would like you to reconsider your decision NOT to allow left hand turns onto Classical Way from
Cottonwood Road. There are a great number of people who come to Petra, attend church in the building
and use the soccer fields. By not allowing left turns, you will send a higher volume of traffic through
residential areas, which will impact those neighborhoods. As I understand, you are planning a left turn lane
for Water St. I have driven to Classical Way many times at all times of the day, and rarely see cars turning
on that street. It would seem to me that putting a turn lane down the center of Cottonwood would be a
better solution for good traffic flow.
