Bozeman City Commissioners,
We are writing to ask for your support of a left turn lane off of Cottonwood Rd into Classical Way which
serves Bronken Field and Petra Academy. The amount of traffic which uses Classical Way is heavy at peak
times in the morning and afternoons and on weekends when sports activities are underway.
Entering Cottonwood Road from Classical Way and attempting to turn north on Cottonwood is challenging
enough wihout compounding the peak time congestion with a significant back up queing on north bound
Cottonwood Road attempting to turn left into Classical Way.
Please adjust the current scope of the project and replace the let turn lane for Waters Street (which does
not have any peak congestion issues) with a north bound left turn lane from Cottonwood Road into
Classical Way.
This revision will better serve all the citizens of Bozeman and Gallatin County who utilize Classical Way to
access the myriad of activities at Bronken Field and Petra Academy.
