My daughter and her family live in an apartment building with the address of 28494 Norris Road. The area is overcome with rabbits! I like the little fluffy things as much as the next person but they continually eat the wires to the cars and this causes loss of steering! This is the second time that my daughter has been driving when the wire breaks and she has no control of her car. It has happened a total of 4 times that I know of between my daughters car and her husbands car. This has cost them thousands of dollars in repairs. Fortunately no lives have been lost! They have told their land lord several times but he will not let them do anything about or to the rabbits. He has a trap in front of the apartment building but that is just working for decoration. There is more then one rabbit. if it even worked. I know that there must be some rules or regulations about BB guns, poison, or other means but what can a person do besides hoping every time they drive that the steering will not go out on them or for them to crawl under the car every time they want to drive? How about the possibility of spreading diseases with so many rabbits and nothing being done to stop or slow down the multiplying of more rabbits all the time? Moving to a different residence is not that easy . As you know it is not easy finding housing in Bozeman especially if a person is not well to do. This letter is not about being upset about a couple extra rabbits. And, yes, I know that my daughter can speak for herself. She has tried talking to her landlord several times and other people. I am a mother that has heard for the second time that my daughter has lost control of the car with my granddaughter inside.. No parent wants to hear these words! Please use your powers to do something because the traps are not working. For the love of God do something before I hear of a fatal accident with anyone in that development or Bozeman: If you can not help with the elimination of rabbits eating the car wires could you please help with other landlords giving payment plans or something for the tenants to find a safe place to live? Please help! Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. If you would like to speak to my daughter her name is Krystal Rojas, 406-539-8750. Feel free to contact me if you so wish.
