HomeMy WebLinkAboutDirector's Report_08.2019/ Director’s Report August 27, 2019 STREAMLINE: We have two new applicants for the Advisory Board. Jennifer Boyer could fill the At-Large seat and Graham Hughes would take one of the ASMSU seats. Adding Jennifer and Graham to the Board will require a vote. Three bids were received from consulting firms for the RFP for Transit Route Planning. The selection committee will review all the bids and bring their recommendation back to the Advisory Board. At the Gallatin County budget work session the commissioners amended their original vote and voted in favor of allocating $20,000 towards this plan. This is thanks largely to the members of the public who spoke to the need for the plan at the last public hearing. The Downtown Transfer Station is nearly ready to be re-opened, the only hang up is the janitorial services, but I’m trying to get the doors open this week. A Grand Opening is being planned for September 12th, I’ll follow up with more details. The new space will have art pieces from the Compassion Project and there are two new bus shelters on the island. STREAMLINE COMPLAINTS  DRIVER STOP MISSSED/EARLY DRIVING SPEEDING INCIDENT*  Green AM Red PM      Yellow AM      Blue PM      Green Mid      GALAVAN: Galavan added 24 new customers in July and gave 2,122 rides in 23 days. MILP had to discontinue the Voucher Program due to some obstacles including the lack of a taxi company to provide the rides. The minivan they received from MDT will be transferred over to us. The dispatcher position is open and we are looking to hire someone with strong administrative skills.
