My comments on the proposed development are as follows:
The proposed development is very high density for the very small space which is not in
keeping with the character of the Loxley street neighborhood. Loxley street is composed ofsingle family houses with relatively large yards. These houses are mostly occupied by
families with small children. The proposed five units across the street will not be in keepingwith this use and because of the extremely close quarters, will inevitably mean many vehicles,
boats, RVs, etc. will clog the street.
The proposed units on Loxley street are considerably more cramped than the other units onLaurel Glen Parkway--especially the southernmost unit. The southernmost unit appears to
have been shoehorned into the plan. It appears that this unit doesn't even have a driveway, soparking is very unclear. It also appears that the southern wall of the unit is jammed against the
property line.
The development would be much more in keeping with the neighborhood, if the southernmostunit on Loxley were eliminated and the other four units spread out. I suggest the planning
department require such a change.
