BRIAN EVANSON EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
The Police Protective Association and Brian Evanson agree
with the Administration that Mr. Evanson, in lieu of layoff, will
be reassigned to a newly created position and excepted from the
Association's contract for the duration of the would-he layoff.
Mr. Evanson will work an eight-hour day, Monday thru Friday
shift; his rate of pay will remain at $1,241.00 per month; he
will maintain his status as a sworn officer and portions of his
duties will allow him to remain in the Police Retirement System
and gain months toward ultimate retirement. Longevity will
progress as normally calculated, but credits, time and training
toward the classification of Officer, 2nd Class, will progress
only at the rate that duties performed are in the capacity of a
sworn officer. Those duties as parking attendant will not
qualify as sworn officer duties.
The new duties for this combined position will be as
follows:
- Parking Attendant - four (4 ) hours per day
- Court Officer - as assigned
- Warrant Officer - as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by Department.
By signing this agreement, I accept all conditions as set
forth herein and that performance of new duties as stated herein
begins immediately.
