Site Visitor Name: Matthew BurkeSite Visitor Email: matthew.burke211@gmail.com I am contacting you to express my concern and opposition to the proposed Alive Again Life Recovery Mission “recovery home” located 3025 Westridge Drive in the Figgens subdivision.I understand the need for such a facility, but I am very concerned about its close proximity to Morning Star School and Sacajawea Middle School. I live three blocks away and my six yearold son and many other children pass that house on their way to and from school on a daily basis. Housing 12 adults with a history of substance abuse problems has me very concernedfor the safety of my child and the children of my neighborhood. Furthermore there is lack of available parking for facility of this size, especially in an residential area zoned R-1. I do notthink this substance abuse facility located near an elementary school fits the character of the neighborhood and I ask that you do not approve it application.
