Bozeman, MT We are very excited to work with the City of Bozeman(City)on the all-day July 20th Story
59715 Mill Community Park Grand Opening celebration.The Trust for Public Land(TPL)will
t:406.522.7450 provide the following assistance as a co-host of this event with the City:
f: 406.522.7453 _ Organizing the event schedule and outreach and advertising;

Coordinating activities with community organizations,food vendors,and recruiting
volunteers;
- Securing performing artists,stage,sound and lights for outdoor concert;
- Sponsoring the libation garden(granted with an alcohol waiver)for the outdoor
concert;
- Providing staff and leadership for day-of execution of the grand opening event;and
- Raising necessary dedicated funds to support the event,including an outdoor
concert with Nashville singer-songwriter Holly Williams.
It is our understanding that in consideration of provision of these services to the City that the
City will:
1. Add TPL as an additional insured on its MMIA commercial general liability policy.For each
such policy of insurance maintained by or on behalf of the City,the insurer shall name TPL
and its officers and employees as an additional insured,provide TPL with an endorsement
and a certificate of insurance evidencing the same,and shall state that the insurer shall give
the maximum notice provided for in the policy(ies)prior to cancellation,expiration or
modification thereof.
2. Indemnify and hold harmless TPL,its directors,officers,employees,agents and contractors
and affiliated entities,from and against any and all claims,liabilities,demands,damages,
losses,costs and expenses,including,but not limited to,attorney's fees and costs arising out
of or resulting from the negligent acts,errors or omissions,or willful misconduct of the City
or its employees at the opening celebration.
We would greatly appreciate it if the City would affirm this in the space below and return an
electronic copy to my attention.
We are looking forward to a great park opening.
