Gentlemen:
We hereby open our irrevocable letter of credit in your favor for the
account of Edsall Construction Company for the sum not to exceed the
aggregate amount of $243,000.00, U. S, Dollars, available by your one
or more drafts drawn at sight on us, Each draft so drawn must be
marked "Drawn under First Security Bank of Bozeman, P. O. Box 910,
Bozeman, MT 59715, Letter of Credit No, EC81-1", and be accompanied
by your signed statement "certifying that the amount drawn covers liability,
loss, costs or expenses incurred by you because of default by Edsall Con-
struction Company.
This credit is subject, so far as applicable, to the Uniform Customs and
Practices for Documentary Credits. 1974 Revision, International Chamber of
Commerce Publication No, 290, We hereby agree with you that all drafts
drawn under and in compliance with the terms of this credit will be duly
honored,
This letter of credit will terminate October 28, 1982,
